Day 1 – Entrance to Siren
5 : 20 a.m. Meeting in our office (private parking available).
5 : 30 a.m. – 7 : 15 a.m. Transfer by scenic boat to Siren Station, with views of the coast and possible sightings of dolphins and turtles.
7 : 15 a.m. Arrival and check-in with park rangers.
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Guided hike along the paths of Siren, exploring jungle and beach for monkeys, macaws, toucans and tapirs.
12 : 00 p.m. – 2 : 00 p.m. Lunch at the station and rest time.
2 : 00 p.m. – 5 : 30 p.m. New guided walk along different trails to increase opportunities to observe fauna.
6 :00 p.m. Dinner at the station.
Night at the Mermaid Biological Station.
Day 2 – Exploration in Mermaid
5 : 00 a.m. – 7 : 00 a.m. Early dawn hike to observe the most active fauna.
7 : 30 a.m. Breakfast at the station.
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Guided hike through the primary forest, with opportunities to observe unique species and learn about the rainforest.
12 : 00 p.m. – 2 : 00 p.m. Lunch and free time to rest.
2 : 00 p.m. – 5 : 30 p.m. Hike to the Rio Claro, exploring trails and enjoying nature.
6 :00 p.m. Dinner at the station.
Second night at the Siren Biological Station.
Day 3 – Return to Puerto Jimenez
5 : 00 a.m. – 7 : 00 a.m. Dawn hike to the Mermaid River for the ultimate wildlife viewing opportunities.
7 : 30 a.m. Breakfast at the station.
8 :00 a.m. – 11 : 30 a.m. Guided hike along the Guanacaste trails of Corcovado, exploring the primary jungle.
11 : 30 a.m. Last lunch at the Siren Biological Station.
12 : 45 p.m. Transfer by boat back to Puerto Jimenez.
The guide will be waiting for customers at the dock at the indicated time, with an identified T-shirt and/or a company name sign so they can easily recognize you.
