Detailed itinerary

Enjoy a full-day guided tour to the largest frozen waterfalls at Korouoma Nature Reserve in Posio. It is located Southeast of Rovaniemi which is about 100km away to drive(1.5h) from the city.

We will start about 5km hiking trip
and on the way you will see a beautiful Canyan that is over 100 meters deep, at the bottom is Korojoki River, which is surrounded by cliffs in both sides. When Winter comes, the streams on the top flowing down through these cliffs and eventually freezing or forming into a gorgeous ice waterfalls. In addition, you will also witness three massive ice waterfalls during the hike area as well as extraordinary Winter Scenery in Wildness!

After, we stop for Lappish BBQ at a campfire spot, where to relax & taste berry tea before return to Rovaniemi(around 16:00).

-Total of 3h drive & back, 3h of hiking(about 5km), 1h of BBQ.
-Bring Your Camera.
-Frozen Waterfalls appears from December until April.
