We travel west along Route 7, the most important connection in Mercosur, crossing the three lines of the Andes mountain range and reaching an altitude of 3,000 meters!
First stop is the Potrerillos Dam, 40 minutes from the city of Mendoza. We take some incredible photos of the area and tell you about the dam and its history. Then we continue for about 50 minutes to the Uspallata Valley.
Uspallata Valley, a small town located between the foothills and the frontal mountain range. There, we take the opportunity to use the restrooms and have a cup of coffee if you need it (coffee not included).
Then we continue for about 50 minutes to the Inca Bridge to appreciate a natural bridge and all its history.
Then we head to the last stop, Aconcagua Provincial Park, where we will see the highest mountain in the Americas. Weather permitting, you can take a short 15-minute hike.
Then we return to the Uspallata Valley for lunch at a mountain restaurant (simple but cost-effective, lunch not included).
