Ponte rodoviária comprida dos anos 1990 que liga Vila Nova de Gaia e o centro do Porto, com vistas sobre o Rio Douro.
Das pontes que ligam o Porto a Vila Nova de Gaia, a Ponte do Freixo é a que está mais a montante do rio Douro.
Trata-se, na verdade, de duas pontes construídas em pórtico lado a lado e afastadas 10 cm uma da outra.

A Ponte de São João é uma infraestrutura ferroviária que transporta a Linha do Norte sobre o Rio Douro, junto à cidade do Porto, em Portugal. Construída para substituir a já centenária Ponte D. Maria Pia, entrou ao serviço em 24 de Junho de 1991.

Imponente ponte ferroviária em arco concluída em 1877 e desenhada pelo famoso arquiteto Gustave Eiffel.
É considerada, junto com o Viaduto de Garabit, como as maiores obras-primas executadas pelo engenheiro Gustave Eiffel. Na altura da sua inauguração, era a ponte com o maior arco em ferro do mundo.

A Ponte Infante Dom Henrique, também conhecida como Ponte do Infante, é uma ponte rodoviária que liga Vila Nova de Gaia ao Porto, sobre o rio Douro, em Portugal.

Baptizada em honra do Infante D. Henrique, nascido no Porto, é a mais recente e, segundo muitos, a mais esbelta ponte que liga Porto e Gaia. Foi construída para substituir o tabuleiro superior da Ponte Luís I.

A ponte mais icónica do Grande Porto.
Ponte arcada com estrada no nível inferior e linha de metro no nível superior entre Porto e Vila Nova de Gaia.

Esta construção veio substituir a antiga ponte pênsil que existia no mesmo local e foi realizada mediante o projecto do engenheiro belga Théophile Seyrig, que já tinha colaborado anteriormente com Gustave Eiffel na construção da Ponte de D. Maria Pia, ferroviária.

A Ponte da Arrábida é uma ponte em arco sobre o Rio Douro.
Desde a década de 1930 que era necessário criar ligações alternativas às antigas pontes (pontes D. Maria Pia e D. Luís) de modo a responder ao crescente fluxo da circulação viária.

No tempo da sua construção em 1963, a ponte tinha o maior arco em betão armado de qualquer ponte no mundo.

Mosteiro antigo do século XVI, localizado no cimo de uma colina e notável pelo claustro e a igreja redonda.

O mosteiro é considerado um dos mais notáveis edifícios da arquitetura clássica europeia devido ao seu excepcional valor arquitetónico e ao caráter singular da sua igreja e do seu claustro, ambos circulares e com a mesma dimensão. A igreja foi classificada como Monumento Nacional em 1910 e em 1996 juntamente com o Centro Histórico do Porto e a Ponte Luís I passou a estar classificado como Património Mundial da Unesco.
