Many of the places we will be visiting can only be reached on foot. This trip requires intense physical effort and a lot of walking. Prepare to walk between 3-6 hours a day. While in Italy, we will use mostly private transportation. Sometimes, we will use public transportation, like in Venice, which best way to travel is using the local Vaporetto or in the Riviera.
