Ephesus is a great Roman ancient city situated close to Kusadasi port. In this tour, we promise you the visits of House of the Virgin Mary Ephesus Temple Of Artemis Celcius Library Great Theatre of Ephesus Hadrian Temple Ephesus was an ancient city of about 250000 inhabitants once upon a time, one of the most populated after Rome itself. The third biggest library of the ancient World is here. There lived one of the most important philosophers of all time that tried to answer ‘archaea’. Mother goddess Artemis that inspired the World was here. Virgin Mary (Mother of Jesus) passed the last days of her life here. A big part of the Gospel of St. John was written in Ephesus. Terrace Houses is located on the skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units that were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealthy citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy and decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top.
