Spend the night in Waerebo has cone-shaped homes made of wood with thatched roofs that purse upward, known as Mbaru Niang. Waerebo is a bit difficult to get to.It needs a 3-hour drive from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village, then you should continue trekking to reach Waerebo Village about 3-4 hours .Trekking and Traditional Village Stay Waerebo is a unique traditional Manggarai ethnic village with traditional houses, With a small population of around 1,200 inhabitants only, the village comprises 7 houses.
Wae Rebo is a small, very out of the way village. Situated on around 1,100 meters above sea level and approximately 3 - 4 hour travel by foot from Denge Village. Wae Rebo is completely surrounded by panoramic mountains and the dense Todo forest. This tropical forest is rich in vegetation, where you will find orchids, different types of ferns and hear the chirping of many songbirds. There is also no mobile coverage in this village, and the electricity is only available from 6 to 10 pm.

DAY 01 : LABUAN BAJO – DENGE – WAE REBO ( L/D)
Start from Labuan Bajo. Drive inland with beautiful panoramic views, villages and rice fields. Lunch at local at local house in Denge. Afternoon start trekking to Wae Rebo to reach Post 2 at Pocoroko a point for panoramic views to the South and Savu sea.
It’s the last place where cellular phone connection services are available. The next stop will be at Nampe Bakok – a place where you will have a complete view over the traditional village of Waerebo. Arrive at Waerebo late late afternoon. dinner will be provided at the village. Spend your whole afternoon in the village and surroundings to experience the local way of life. Your overnight stay will be provided at one of the traditional houses. Sharing with the local people. (Very Simple accommodation).
DAY 02 WAEREBO – DENGE – LABUANBAJO

Spend your morning in the village and then trek the same way back but this time you walk downhill until reaching a point where the car is waiting to bring you back to Labuan Bajo.

In Manggarai you will certainly notice the impressive lingko fields. The most amazing view over a number of these fields is offered at Cara Village situated on a small hill 17km west of Ruteng in Cancar. With their round, spider-web structure, these pieces of land are unique eye-catchers in Manggarai.
Lunch will be provided en route. Arrive in Labuan Bajo by late afternoon or early of the evening. (Drop at your Hotel in Labuan Bajo ).
