The threefold tour mentioned above is unique to any night sky tour I've been on.
The astronomy concepts presented and aided by the models and
many of the stories play off of the concepts and even connect many what would seem like hidden aspects of our modern culture to the ancient past.
This tour represents the culmination of a lifetime of seeking adventure and the desire to answer questions. Thank you very much for your interest ::)
This engaging and entertaining tour is threefold: (1) Greek and local indigenous constellation star stories (2) Phenomenal astronomical aspects of the cosmos that concentrate on what you can see with your own eyes and your perspective from earth as we travel through space our solar system and galaxy
(3) connections to my day time tour...The Experiential And Scientific Vortex Tour. The stars tell some of its amazing history :)
Please come join us under the cool night sky and prepare to "meet the Stars" goaling to increase your magic with them :)
UNIQUE THIS WEEK:
Milky Way visibility will be at its best all year and the moon will not be up during the hours of the tour this week so the stars will be at their brightest!
Please dress warmly in the Fall and Winter months. I will provide blankets and hand warmers :)
There is no hiking done on this tour. We stay at one location and there are chairs to sit in.
Please refrain from bringing pets.
Thank you so much!
Credentials continued: I
have lived, adventured, and explored this area with a passion. I think the reviews of my Experiential and Scientific Vortex Tour also advertised on on this Viator site speak to this. What I impart on this Night Sky Tour as the tie in to my Vortex Tour is an amazing summation I'd say. It's a culmination of three decades of searching and synchronistic experiences, and encountering amazing teachers of all walks of life. Honestly, I would have paid MUCH more than the price of this tour to have had all the stories and information on this Night Sky Tour imparted to me in 2005 when I started as a professional guide.
IF all of what I've said speaks to you, thank you very much for your interest in it all :)
The name of my company is Adventure Explore and Soar. An unfixable technical error happened at the start up of this site and is the reason my site name is my name rather than the name of my company. I'm good with it though, perhaps it was meant to be :)
Credentials:
I've been doing night sky tours for over five years. I added it to this site on Viator June of 2022.
I have been a night sky enthusiast all my life and have been on many star tours. I have thought extensively about space and the cosmos and have asked many questions. The astronomy I'm presenting are my favorites of the many amazing concepts I've learned of our
vast starscape. I think you will be amazed by them.
The story telling is greatly enhanced I'd say by my love for telling them :) I'm a musician, actor, dancer, practice mma, climb, swim, run, play basketball, and do many other physical activities. I'd say these attributes very much help my liveliness in it all :)
I fell in love with Sedona in 1996 passing through. I moved here from Indiana. I started professional tour guiding in 2005 and have conducted thousands of tours. I'm a well-known guide and guide trainer in Sedona, especially at Safari Tours :)
IF THE WEATHER IS CLOUDY:
Clouds happen seldom In Sedona at night as we only get an average of 17 inches of rainfall a year. However, it can happen. Some who book this tour are concerned about if it’s cloudy the night of the tour and we are already inside the time frame of the 24 cancellation policy.
This information is intended to put your mind at ease with this. IF IT'S CLOUDY THE NIGHT OF YOUR TOUR, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO CANCEL FOR A FULL REFUND UP TO THE TIME THE TOUR STARTS, BASED ON YOUR DISCRETION,
REGARDLESS OF THE 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. The idea here is to give the tour a chance to take place. The clouds often clear shortly before the tour and make for a beautiful night because the "micro climate chimney winds" coming out of the Oak Creek canyon change directions at night and often push the clouds out. :)

Please drive down Cultural Park Place Rd all the way until the end. I will be there with chairs set up and lights on with a sign that says "Night Sky Tour with Chad" :)
