Detailed itinerary

A member of our team will meet you at your hotel to give you the briefing and all the necessary information regarding your safari to Selous Game Reserve and answer all the questions that you might have, then transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Departure from Zanzibar airport at 07h00.

Arrive in Selous Mtemere Airstrip at 08h00, received by our safari guide. Immediately you will start a safari game drive, sightseeing the game in the park, driving through the savannah and along the river and lakes.
Our professional guide will assist you to spot animals easily by using radio call equipped on the car to communicate with another guide, hope your safari will be enjoyed.

This full-day guided tour features morning and afternoon game drives and a picnic lunch in a stunning location with a clear view of the park, with entrance fees, lunch, and door-to-door transportation.

SELOUS GAME RESERVE - Now known as Nyerere National Park, A newly established Park is part of what is known as Selous Game Reserve. Founded in 2019 and covering over 30,000 square kilometres, now the largest National Park in Africa. The park boasts Tanzania's most significant number of elephants, lions, African hunting dogs, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs and zebras.

At the end of the game drive our guide will assist you to the airstrip where you will meet your awaiting flight back to Zanzibar. The plane will depart to Selous Airstrip at 16:00.
