This delightful private day trip from Shanghai takes you to discover the beauty of the Paradise City Hangzhou. Other than the wonderful Dragon Well tea culture experience and the relaxing boat ride in West Lake, you are offered two different sightseeing route options based on your personal interests. You can either choose to see the historical Lingyin temple and Leifeng Pagoda, or you can to visit Chenghuang Pavilion and Former Residence of Hu Xueyan. Local lunch, round trip bullet train tickets, private guide and private vehicle service are inclusive. Get your train ticket upgraded to first class seating at time of booking.

What you'll see

Your friendly private driver will pick you up at your centrally located Shanghai hotel lobby in the morning, and head up to Hangzhou City by taking a 1-hour bullet train ride from Hongqiao Train Station.

Route A: West Lake Boat Ride - Longjing Tea Village - Lingyin Temple - Leifeng Pagoda

Upon arrival enjoy a relaxing boat ride in beautiful West Lake, and you will see the famous attractions, such as Su Causeway and etc.. Then, head up to Longjing Tea Village where you will experience wonderful tea culture and tasty tea farm lunch. Then, enjoy a short hike in the Tea Mountain to see the greens with fresh aroma. In the late afternoon, visit the historical Linyin Temple and see the Leifeng Pagoda under the amazing sunset.

 

Route B: West Lake Boat Ride - Longjing Tea Village - Chenghuang Pavilion - Former Residence of Hu Xueyan - Hefang Street

For this option, other than Tea Culture and West Lake boat ride, you will visit Chenghuang Pavilion in Wu Hill, the highest point in Hangzhou where you can overlook the entire West Lake and the city landscaping. Walk along in Hefang Street and visit the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan, where you will appreciate the amazing Chinese architecture and learn the history of a notable businessman in China during the latter Qing dynasty.

After your tour is finished, take  bullet-train ride back to Shanghai, where your guide gets you back to your hotel.
