Your friendly guide picks you up at your Shanghai city hotel lobby at your preferred schedule during the day, and take you directly to one of the local wet market for a visit where you will see live chicken and fish, fresh vegetables and some other interesting goods there. Check out the grocery price and have a chat with the local vendors.
Then, head up to the modern Hema Fresh by Alibaba Group, a 100% self-service supermarket, and you will see a very different grocery shopping style there. You can purchase fresh seafood, vegetable or meat there (at your own cost), and the kitchen there can cook them for you.
After your tour is finished, your guide will take you back to your city hotel in Shanghai.
