About this experience

Nanjing, one of the China's most important cities for over a thousand years, is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals in the Chinese history. Join this all-inclusive private 8-hour tour to see some of the ancient attractions in the city like Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Ming City Wall, Xuanwu Lake, Zhonghua Gate, Zhanyuan Garden, Fuzi Miao, and Qinghuai River. In the morning, meet your guide at hotel lobby in Nanjing city or Nanjing Railway Station.
Typically, Start the tour by visiting Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the tomb of the Hongwu Emperor, the founder of the Ming dynasty. It lies at the southern foot of Purple Mountain, located east of the historical center of Nanjing.

In the afternoon, continue your tour to Ming City Wall, Zhonghua Gate, See the castle-style ancient city gate on a giant scale with massive masonry walls, deep arched gateways and multiple courtyards. Learn how the military defense the enemy and protect the city in the ancient times.

Next, visit Zhanyuan Garden and take a stroll along the Fuzi Miao (Confucian Temple Area). You can choose to visit the Confucius temple and the old examination museum if you like or take a boat ride on Qinghuai River before enjoying your tasty local lunch.

Continue to visit Jiming temples, take a stroll at the temple complex with different chambers and splendid buddha statues. See the local prayers and enjoy the picturesque view of surroundings.

See the beautiful lake view surrounded by old pavilions, shaded trees, lotus flowers and small bridges. Explore the garden by foot or electric car and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the city.

After your tour is finished, your guide will send you back to your hotel in Nanjing, or see you off at Nanjing Railway Station.
