1

2

Santa Eulària's central palm-studded square contains the town's dignified ajuntament (town hall), built in 1795; its arched frontal colonnade is flanked by two municipal coats of arms. Just off the square's northeast side is Santa Eulària's famous street of restaurants, Carrer Sant Vicent.

Stop 3

Ibiza's old town of Dalt Vila was founded 2,500 years ago by the Phoenicians. It was once one of the most strategically important cities in the Mediterranean region. During the Renaissance, the city was further fortified. Kings Charles I and Philip II built strong walls around the city to protect it from attacks by the Turks and the French. The peace of the old streets, the marvelous panoramas and the many interesting stories associated with the place attract tourists to the old part of Ibiza Town.

4

The Castle of Ibiza, or Castell d'Eivissa in Catalan, can be argued to be the heart of the island. The castle grounds are located at the top of the fortified Upper Town. The castle is comprised of numerous buildings that include the Tower of Homage, the 8th century Almudaina, the governor's home and the 18th century infantry barracks.

5

The Plaça de la Vila is a square in Torroella de Montgrí (Baix Empordà). It is located in the center of an urban area that began in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, when the town passed to royal power, with the Roman camp plan typical of medieval towns created under royal rule. From the year 1273 the urban layout is planned with orderly orthogonal streets that converge in the square.

6

The Mercat Vell is, as its name indicates, the old Ibiza market. It is located in the heart of the neighbourhood La Marina, in Plaça de la Constitució, right in front of the Portal de ses Taules: neither more nor less, than in the main access of the Walls.

7

It is a religious building built in the 13th Century in a Catalan gothic-style with a nave built in a Barroque-style. In fact, it is a big building. Nowadays, you can see it and visit it and the diocesan museum. I could see the cathedral, the altar and their naves. Pitifully, I came here in January and the museum was closed at this season. Very nice an iconic building in Ibiza.

8

After the guided tour, relish in 3 hours of free time. Your guide will drop you off at a convenient location, allowing you to savor lunch and indulge in some retail therapy.

9

After a day filled with delights, our comfortable private vehicle will whisk you back to your ship, brimming with cherished memories. Trust our decade-long expertise in organizing shore excursions and exploring the shores with utmost comfort and peace of mind. Booking a tour during your cruise can be daunting, but not with us!
