Assumption Cathedral is an Orthodox church in the Katajanokka district of Helsinki, the cathedral of the Helsinki Metropolitanate of the Archdiocese of Finland of the Archdiocese of Constantinople of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. It was built in 1868 according to the project of architect Alexei Gornostaev in the Russian style and consecrated in honour of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
