The Princely Palace in Monaco is the official residence of the Grimaldi rulers of Monaco. The palace was founded as a Genoese fortress in 1191, then expanded and rebuilt several times. Since the end of the 13th century, the palace has belonged to the Genoese Grimaldi family, who first seized it in 1297.

Port Hercules (French: Port Hercule) is the only deep-water port in Monaco. The port has been in use since ancient times. The modern port was completed in 1926, and underwent substantial improvements in the 1970s. It covers almost 40 acres (160,000 m2), enough to provide anchorage for up to 700 vessels.

The Gardens of St Martin are located in the Monaco-Ville district of Monaco. The gardens consist of a series of paths on the south-west side of the Rock of Monaco. They have an estimated area of 11,200 square metres. The flora includes Aleppo pines and yellow agaves on the terraces, as well as medieval fortifications in the gardens.
