Pemecutan palace was built in the 17th century in the era of Pemecutan Kingdom in Denpasar. It is one of the palaces which are opened for visitors. Patung Catur Muka was established in 1973 and it is a statue of Brahma, a supreme Hindu god. Each of the four faces of the statue looks toward each direction of the compass. The statue, which is nine meters high, was created under the critical eye of the famous artist from Ubud village, I Gusti Nyoman Lempad.
