You will start off with the Herbal Garden visit, where you will get to see Ayurvedic herbs endemic to Sri Lanka. Getting to know the different types of Tea plants and how they're processed along with a tea tasting session is something you would not want to miss. You also have the option to enjoy an organic home-cooked meal wrapped in banana or lotus leaf.

Nandana Tea Factory (NTF) is situated in Akuressa, bordering the wide expanse of waters, the Nilwala Ganga (Blue River). NTF makes premium orthodox black tea, maintaining the age-old tradition, preserving intrinsic aroma, taste and quality. NTF stamped its mark in the country as the best producers of low-grown tea, under the proficient guidance of its managing director, Mr. Gunasoma Wanigasekara.
