To begin the morning, we drive through lush and mountainous coastal landscapes from Port Douglas, learning about the history and culture of the region, as we journey toward the ancient Daintree Rainforest.

For our spectacular and idyllic wild walk, we hike through ancient rainforest glades and the creekside valley to a gorgeous, secluded waterfall in the Daintree Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, where we can swim in this pristine untouched rock pool.

The walk is a slightly challenging 1 hour each way, requiring reasonable fitness and good balance. We go at an easy pace, sharing many fascinating details about the pristine rainforest ecosystem along the trail...

We then relax and indulge in a refreshing swim in this magical natural Rockpool where we can swim right beneath the falls !

We enjoy a superb gourmet lunch at a hidden rainforest restaurant, with choices of steak, fish, kangaroo, chicken or vegetarian, and other dietary needs catered for. Cooked fresh for you by a chef from the best restaurant in the area.

Enjoy a bonus tropical fruit tasting experience with your main meal, learning about the history and culinary uses for these colourful and exotic delights !

For the afternoon, we embark on a solar powered Daintree River Crocodile and Wildlife spotting cruise. Get the chance to see the world's largest crocodilian up close, and bring your camera for the wonderfull bird life on the estuary.
