It is an impressive sight to see how people lived in this underground city, complete with ventilation shafts, wells, and kitchens.
Çavuşin village, which is home to two ancient churches, the Church of Saint John the Baptist and the Church of Saint John the Baptist. These churches date back to the 5th century and boast stunning frescoes that have been preserved over the centuries.
