Upon arrival at the airport, one of our knowledgeable guides will greet you and escort you to your hotel in a shared car. After check-in procedures, embark on a tour of the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, beginning with the North-western Cluster that consists of 5 churches. From noon until 2 pm, these churches close for lunch break. During this time we will take you to one of the finest restaurants in town where you can enjoy a delicious meal. In the afternoon after lunchtime concludes , continue exploring with a visit to South-eastern Cluster which includes 5 more churches. Finally, you'll be taken to see perhaps Lalibela's most famous church -Bet Giyorgis-which was built as tribute to Saint George. Once all churches have been visited, enjoy an invitation into local life by experiencing our renowned coffee ceremony in town. In evening attend traditional live music, dance, and Honey-Wine in Torpedo, a popular local bar. The following morning we bring to the airport for your departure.
