• 4:30 AM: Departure from Dares Salaam
• Pick up from your hotel in Dares Salaam in a 4×4 safari vehicle with an English-speaking driver-guide. Drive to Mikumi National Park (approx. 5-6 hours, 302 km).
• 10:00 AM: Arrive at Mikumi National Park
• Check in at the park gate. Begin your first game drive in the Mkata Floodplain, known as the "little Serengeti." Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and over 400 bird species.
