Mishima Taisha is one of the oldest and most important Shinto shrines in the area, with a history spanning over 1,300 years. It was respected and admired by numerous samurai warlords, including Minamoto no Yoritomo, the founder of the Kamakura Shogunate government. You can enjoy a very tranquil and sacred atmosphere within the shrine precincts, and you will also learn how Shinto influences Japanese lifestyle and culture. Additionally, there is a deer park on the property where you can feed deer crackers to the resident deer.

You can explore the nature paths by the pond and walk inside the historical wooden building, which was once the residence of the imperial family.
Finally, we will catch the bullet train departing Mishima Station at 2:00 pm and enjoy another pleasant Shinkansen ride back to Tokyo. Let's make the most of this comfortable, high-speed, high-tech train journey! After getting off the train, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.
