You'll spend the majority of your journey travelling along this spectacular coastal route, taking in amazing panoramas & sweeping ocean views. We'll reach the 12 Apostles in time to enjoy the sunsetting over the ocean!
On reaching the coast, take a quick break in the idyllic seaside town of Anglesea. Stretch your legs alongside the picturesque Angelsea River before continuing your journey along the Great Ocean Road.
Stop for an opportunity to take a happy snap & perhaps make a quick visit to the beach at the historic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch.
During the summer months, our lunch stop (own expense) is in the town of Lorne, one of the Great Ocean Road's premier beachside towns.
Set alongside the Great Otway National Park, the eucalyptus forest surrounding Kennett River is home to a colony of native koalas. Our guide will assist you in some koala spotting. Keep in mind that they are wild animals and shouldn't be disturbed in any way. During the winter months, we will stop here for out lunch break (own expense).
Explore numerous spectacular coastal lookouts and learn the history of the Loch Ard which was wrecked here in 1878 with the loss of 52 lives. View rock formations including the Razorback, the recently collapsed Island Archway, the Dumpling Pots and Muttonbird Island.
