Our tour will give you great insights, fun stories, intriguing anecdotes and certainly won´t "lecture" you about the city.
We ´ve been guiding for almost 2 decades and we learned that listening to someone is way more difficult than talking to someone... We want our tours to be a fun experience rather than a boring lesson. To make it even more enjoyable, there will be time for a stop in one of our favourite bars for a coffee, a spritz, a prosecco or a glass of Valpolicella wine.. on us! Wonderful Iconic Medieval bridge of Verona. We will walk on it and learn the stories about the origins of this amazing city

The Ancient Roman Arch, belonged to the Gavi Family and was built in the 1st century AD

Stop 3

Ancient Roman access arch to the Decumanus, the main road which linked the Easter and Western parts of the ancient Roman City. You will get here with a walk through tiny and fascinating alleyways. We will then walk one of the most authentic and beautiful streets of Verona, Corso Porta Borsari, and take a couple of side streets to less known corners and squares on the way to the next stop

Verona´s oldest standing bridge.

Stop 5

The ancient Roman and then Medieval defensive site, later used by the Austrian army. It offers a breathtaking view over Verona´s historic center. We will reach it by walking up some easy steps and have time for a rest and some great pictures

OUTSIDE VIEW AND EXPLANATION The spectacular Gothic funerary monuments of the Scala family.

The iconic building chosen as home to Shakespeare´s Juliette. Even though this was never really Juliet´s home, we take a quick stop into the courtyard for a picture of the famous balcony

An ancient Roman access to the city. The area surrounding it shows the underground sections of the road. We will literally walk along fences that will allow us o admire the ancient street level from thousands of years ago

OUTSIDE VIEW AND EXPLANATION
One of the best preserved ancient Roman gladiator Arena, home to one of the most prestigious Opera scenes in the world and in history. You will admire it from the outside and learn about the original structure, also with the help of pictures and reconstructions of the ancient building.
