Local tour guide will pick you up from Kunming downtown hotel at approx. 9:00 am, enjoy private transfer to start the Stone Forest exploration in Kunming.

Located 80 kilometers (approx. 2 hours) south-east of Kunming, the Stone Forest, known as the 'First Wonder of the World' since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.), is a typical example of karsts topography. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots. Walking through the site, you will marvel at the natural stone masterpieces and be bewitched by the intricate formations. The magnificent, strange and steep landscape creates countless labyrinthine vistas. Follow your guide to wander around the marvelous landscape and hear the beautiful legends of local Hani ethnic group.
