This half day Panda tour starts at 8am because both adult and baby pandas are most active during feeding time in the morning. Your private tour guide will pick you up from your Chengdu downtown hotel and escort you to the Giant Panda Research and Breeding Center directly. The Panda Base has been created in simulation of the natural habitat to ensure Giant Pandas having the best possible environment for researching and breeding. Giant Pandas and other rare animals are fed and bred here throughout the year. Verdant bamboo forest, colorful flowers, fresh air, and a natural hill scene are merged ingeniously at the base. Here, you will see giant pandas eating and interacting with each other and you may also have a chance to see some baby pandas. Later, watch a 20-minute video to learn about the effort of giant panda research and breeding at a small theater inside the base. To conclude your panda tour, your private guide will transfer you back to your downtown Chengdu hotel.
