This session develops essential kite-steering muscle memory, a fundamental skill for all future progression. You will learn launch, land, and basic kite movements.
Learn how to properly set up the full-sized, inflatable four-line kite, lines, and control bar. You'll master the safety checks (the "pre-flight check").
Practice flying the large kite on the beach or in very shallow water. Learn to navigate the kite in the wind window to generate and then completely de-power the kite. Enter the clear, waist-deep Red Sea water.
This is the most crucial part of your lesson. You will use the kite's power to propel your body through the water (body dragging).
