Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Set aside a day to explore Tierra del Fuego National Park with a complete itinerary. Start the tour on the Tren del Fin del Mundo, discovering the history of the railway.

After a delicious lunch, continue enjoying the various attractions on this route, such as the beautiful Playa Larga and the famous Martial Glacier, with its stunning views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel.

We left the hotel towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, the southernmost on the planet and the only one in Argentina that has a combination of mountains, lake and sea.

An experienced guide will illustrate the tour, telling details and stories about the places visited.

2
Stop 2

The first stop takes place just before the park entrance, at Fin del Mundo station. At this time, those interested in taking the train ride will be able to purchase a ticket. On board the train, in addition to enjoying the landscape, you will learn about the history of this railway that took inmates from Ushuaia prison to the slopes of Mount Susana. The duration of the tour is approximately 1 hour.

Those who don't want to take the train ride can take advantage of this moment to enjoy the charming station and listen to the history of the railway told by our guide.

3
Stop 3

At the end of the train ride, everyone reunites and we head to our next stop: Correio do Fim do Mundo. There, you can stamp your passports with the “End of the World” mark and even send a postcard to friends and family (the post office is only open in the summer).

4
Stop 4

We then headed to Lake Roca, on the border with Chile. There, we will take a short trail learning more about the vegetation and fauna of Tierra del Fuego.

A few more kms and we arrive at the Alakush visitor center, where you can find the museum of the island's ancient indigenous people, as well as a great snack bar. From this point, we can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Cerro Condor and the Lapataia River.

5
Stop 5

We continue our tour towards the beautiful Bahía Lapataia, from where we can see a section of the Beagle Channel, as well as beautiful Magallánic forests. In this place, you will find the end of Ruta 3, the road that reaches the southernmost point of the planet. A great place to be considered “The End of the World”!

Already having a good view of Tierra del Fuego, we left the park towards the city of Ushuaia, where we had lunch in an excellent restaurant (Brix Bar).

After lunch, we continue our tour heading towards the beautiful Playa Larga.

6

Playa Larga is known for its viewpoint, from where you can see Ushuaia Bay and the city.

Completing your day with the spectacular scenery of this Patagonian pearl.

7

Discover the stunning beauty of the Martial Glacier, a standout attraction that pays homage to explorer Luis Fernando Martial. The quick climb offers spectacular views of the slopes, trees and streams, providing a unique experience. Without the snow cover, the landscape comes to life, inviting visitors to deeply connect with nature. Furthermore, the panoramic view of the city and the Beagle Channel from the top of the mountain is captivating. The trail, of moderate difficulty, is accessible for all ages and fitness levels.
