Detailed itinerary

1

We pick up our passengers at their accommodation.

Estancia 25 de Mayo has 17,000 hectares of land, and its old house is located just a few steps from the center of El Calafate, the city has grown and arrived very close to one of the oldest estancias in the entire region. The place is ideal for resting and enjoying the landscape at the foot of Cerro Calafate. A proposal to discover the rural side of the destination in this great pioneering Patagonian essence.

2

Inside the farm, you will be welcomed with mates, carreteiro coffee, typical of the region and fried pies, while they tell the story of the estancia and how its activities were carried out at the beginning of the 20th century.

There will be a demonstration of the typical Patagonian activity of shearing sheep and a lecture on wool production and all the details involved in this trade.

Including particularities and details that we never imagined in the “sheep” context.

3

We will be able to discover details of a true Patagonian resort, from old buildings and tools to walking through the resort's plant nursery, also the organic garden that produces the vegetables that are used in the farm's barbecue area for dinner and also getting to know the old shed and corrals.

Instead of the resort called “Mirador del Arroyo” we will taste a tasty mountain wine with lamb confit.

4

Those who only did the afternoon field activity will return to the transport that will take them back to their respective hotels.

5
