First, as Athenians do, we will meet in Monastiraki Square in the city center. We'll grab a coffee and do a "volta" -- a leisurely walk through the city to give you a taste of what it's like to be a local!
The walk will take about 1,5 hours. During it, I'll share with you my love for Athens -- the hidden paths, beautiful backstreets and hills, its living history, and some personal stories as well. I'll give you a glimpse of the modern Athenian lifestyle, where we hang out, where we eat, and most importantly where we cut loose.
We'll end the "volta" at one of the best taprooms in Athens. There, we'll spend 1,5 hours more, and during that time we will do a brief introduction to Greek beer culture, as well as a short master class about beer tasting and food pairing. We'll taste four different types of beer combined with an assortment of Greek cheeses, olives, nuts, fruits and chocolate, and in this way, I will introduce you to the art and science of tasting beer.
