Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Our tour starts in Athens and continues to Corinth and its famous Canal, which connects the Aegean and Ionian seas. This project has turned several engineers around since ancient times. However, it was only with the cooperation of several countries that it became a reality in 1893. It is an impressive and breathtaking work once you are on your bridge. It is 6.3 km long, 21 m wide, more than 80 meters high and only 8 meters deep in its waters. With luck, you will be able to see and photograph one of the 11,000 ships that pass through it each year.

Stop 4

More than 400 exhibits, dating from the prehistoric period to the 5th century AD. C., are exhibited in thematic groups within the Museum of the History of the Olympic Games of Antiquity.

Most come from Olympia, but also from other important places in Greece. Visitors will have a complete picture of the historical development of the Olympic Games and the other Panhellenic Games (the Pythian in Delphi, the Nemeo in the sanctuary of Zeus in Nemea and the Isthmian Games in the sanctuary of Poseidon near Corinth) through a wide selection of exhibits, as well as information panels and visual material.
