Stop 1

This tour leaves from right across the famous Palau de la Musica, one of Barcelona's most visited attractions. It is not possible to visit inside at this time of the morning, but the Modernist facade is worth more than few photographs.

We leave for Montserrat at 8.15am, heading down towards the old port of Barcelona and then on past the Columbus Statue at the end of the Ramblas.

As we head out of the city, you will pass Montjuïc. This area, is the site of the Olympic Stadium and is known as the lungs of Barcelona. Your guide will tell you more about the history of the famous hill as you drive by.

Stop 4 Pass by

Less than an hour after leaving Barcelona, the unforgettable sight of Montserrat Mountain comes into view. This geological wonder dominates the landscape for miles around, and is the perfect setting for the famous Montserrat Monastery.

Stop 5

The world-famous monastery, high up in the mountain of Montserrat, is our destination. There is an entry fee to the Basilica, and you can purchase your pre reserved tickets
separately in our office before the tour. You'll also have time to wander around the stunning mountain paths, take the funicular to a stunning viewpoint, or follow your guide to the lookout at the Cross of St. Miquel. Montserrat is one of the most iconic attractions in all of Catalunya, and it never fails to delight.

Our final stop of the day takes you deep into the wine region of Catalunya. You will visit a charming family owned winery for an intimate visit and a lengthy wine tasting.
You will get a chance to walk through the fields, touching and seeing up close the vines, explore their underground cellars, learn how they produce the famous sparkling Cava wine, and finish the day with a wine tasting of 4 different types of wine.

After a morning in Montserrat, we will head down the mountain and into the heart of the wine country.
We take the back roads that meander through the fields full of grape vines as we head to a beautiful old farmhouse, set right in the heart of vineyards. The restaurant we have chosen serves delicious delicious traditional seasonal dishes.
