About this experience

Our 6-hour tour allows you to admire the beautiful coasts of Lake Como, the historic villas that overlook it as well as the wonderful glimpses into the hidden corners that can only be seen from the lake. With our 6-hour tour we will arrive in Menaggio after sailing along the eastern coast of the Como branch and after crossing the lake at Varenna. Both in Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio it will be possible to disembark to take a tour of these wonderful villages. At the Comacina island we will stop for an aperitif and/or a dip in the lake. Detailed itinerary

1

The first town we encounter after Como is Blevio where we can admire the suggestive Villa Troubetzkoy, Villa Cademartori, Villa Da Riva, Villa Belvedere (la Malpensata), Villa Roccabruna now Mandarin Oriental Lake Como

2

The second town is Torno, with its 1000 inhabitants it is one of the most evocative and fascinating municipalities on Lake Como. Its coasts are full of historic villas such as Villa Taverna and Villa Pliniana as well as the brand new Hotel Sereno. In the waters facing Villa Pliniana it will also be possible to dive into the lake to cool off a bit

3

We will admire the private villas overlooking the lake

4

In Nesso the main attraction is the Nesso ravine, a small jewel set in the rock. It stands at the point where two streams join forming a scenic waterfall that can be seen beyond the Civera bridge from which, often, the bravest dive into the lake.

5

Called the pearl of the lake. A delightful town located on the promontory from which the 2 branches of Lake Como depart. A real gem with its ancient and evocative houses in the old village and the characteristic cobbled staircases where the colorful shops parade one after the other. Don't miss the Villa Melzi Gardens

6

Located opposite Bellagio, it is one of the most beautiful villages in the region. It is a very romantic and evocative place with its "Lover's Walk", a walkway overlooking the waters of the lake. The visit to the Vezio Castle is also interesting

7

A fascinating village that captures the visitor's heart at first glance. It offers a romantic atmosphere with its narrow alleys and scenic squares and a breathtaking view in which the body of water reflects the mountains. You will be able to see elegant historic buildings as well as inns, souvenir shops and typical products, restaurants, clubs and cafes perfect for relaxation

8

Small village overlooking the Gulf of Venus. It enjoys a mild and temperate climate. There are numerous splendid villas including "Villa La Cassinella" and "Villa del Balbianello" owned by Fai. Villa Balbianello and its splendid gardens can be visited by purchasing tickets online

9

The only island on Lake Como. There were 9 churches on the island before the Como people razed them to the ground in 1169. Today only the baroque church of San Giovanni is still intact. Every year at the end of June the escape of the island's inhabitants towards Varenna is remembered, with a representation in which the lake is illuminated like day with thousands of floating candles and a beautiful fireworks display. The waters around the island are the ideal place to sip an aperitif and go for a swim

10

Small village located on the western shore of the lake where you can admire the splendid coasts and, among others, Villa La Punta (originally Veronesi) and Villa Oleandra (George Clooney's summer residence.

11

We will admire Villa Le Rose (residence of Winston Churchill in 1945), Villa Passalacqua, today a hotel with 24 suites and Villa Fontanelle, also called Villa Versace

12

Cernobbio is the first town you come across on the western shore starting from Como. We will admire the wonderful Villa D'Este, whose first construction dates back to
1449, Villa Pizzo, which can be rented for weddings or other private events and Villa Erba, once owned by the director Luchino Visconti and today a venue for events and conferences

13

We will pass in front of Villa Olmo, one of the largest and most majestic villas on Lake Como and Life Electric, a monument in honor of Alessandro Volta created by star architect Daniel Libeskind
