Your tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in the morning. You will be take a private ride for about 20 minutes to get get your bicycle. Then, start your bicycle tour experience towards north direction where you will see many farms and villages passing by. In two hours bicycle, you will get to the first stop - Jade dragon village.
The Jade dragon Village is at the base of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, hence for the origin of the name.The whole village covers an area over 4.6 square kilometers with a latitude over 1540 meters.The average temperature is around 16.3℃.Planting grains, vegs and flowers are main business for locals. This village is a very tranquil place since it's not a hot spot for tourists. Riding through village, you will see a large meadow for feeding local sheep, horse and cattle. In April and May, there are many beautiful wild flowers in the meadow.
You will enjoy your lunch in Baisha village which is located 10 kilometers far from north of Lijiang Old Town. It's facing Jade Dragon Mountain in north. Due to the white sand on the ground, the Village got the name “Baisha” in Chinese. You will see the delicate arched bridges, azure blue sky, and cozy warm sunshine in Baisha village. Sitting along the street and enjoying the sunshine will be a terrific experience for you. Baisha village is the cradle for Naxi culture.You can also visit the Naxi local home to experience the life, culture and history from an old kind Naxi doctor there if you are lucky.
Around 3:00pm, you will return back by bicycle, and be transferred back to your hotel.
