WALK IN THE CORFU OLIVE GROVE.

Our destination is a typical farm in the countryside of Corfu, where we will meet the owners, welcome us, and describe how happy they feel with their life close to nature, plants, and animals.
We shall begin with a relaxing walk through the small but brilliant olive grove of the farm. Olive harvest typically takes place each autumn and each olive grower uses a different method of collecting olives. Olive oil produced is virgin, homemade, with strong flavor and taste, while it is kept in the basement along with other products cultivated on the farm.
On our visit to the olive grove, we will meet chickens, ducks, and turkeys enjoying roaming freely in the fields under the sunlight of the Corfu countryside.

VISIT TO THE FARM'S VEGETABLE GARDEN.

The garden of the estate is densely wooded and there are almost all kinds of vegetables.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, zucchini and lettuces are waiting for you to water and care for them. The farm owners will teach us how to plant seeds and take care of the plants so they can grow and provide fresh fruits and vegetables.

Orange trees, lemon trees, fig trees, pear trees and many other types of Corfu trees will offer us a lot of knowledge and relaxation. Of course, we cannot miss the Kumquat, which belongs to the landmarks of Corfu. is a tiny but magical fruit with a rich history and special properties.

ENJOY GREEK COFFEE.

It's time for us all to enjoy a nice Greek coffee break. In this beautiful landscape, the owners of the farm will prepare a cup of traditional Greek coffee. For Greeks, drinking coffee is like washing your face in the morning, it is a kind of daily morning ritual because of the strong taste and aroma of coffee.

There couldn't be a more idyllic place to grab a homemade local snack before continuing our tour.

On this tranquil Greek farm, bathed in the warm Mediterranean sun, unfolds a midday meal as a celebration of local produce.
The air fills with the scent of freshly cut herbs. The meal starts with a platter of sun-dried tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and olives, all cultivated on the farm.
A bowl of homemade tzatziki, made with yogurt from the farm's goats, complements the fresh vegetables. The main course includes "Kokoras Pastitsada," the famous Corfiot dish, cooked with the authentic recipe by the local traditional cook. Freshly baked bread, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, is served, ideal for soaking up the rich olive oil-infused juices.
