Discover an authentic jewel of scenery in the heart of Barcelona.
Did you know that this garden is the oldest in Barcelona? Its origins date back to 1794 and it was designed by the architect Domenico Bagutti, who was inspired by the French Neoclassical and English Romantic gardens.
The tour of this magical place takes us among bushes, palaces and sculptures from Greek mythology. We will see the palace of the Marqués de Alfarrás, the Subirana tower, the heraldic fountain of the Pelícano and the domestic garden, the Plaza de los Leones, the garden of the Boxes and the Plaza del Reloj. We will go up to the Belvedere of the park, the pavilion of Carlos IV, inspired by the architecture of Palladio and the cave of the nymph Egeria. The finishing touch of the visit: the labyrinth. Royals such as the kings Carlos IV, Fernando VII or Alfonso XII have walked through this charming place made with cut cypresses.
