Our local expert guide will make you experience the island’s natural beauty and scenery and be informed about island’s history and land.
The tour begins with the jewelry of the island that dates back to the 8th century: monastery of Hozoviotissa. We are warmly welcomed by the monks who offer traditional raki and loukoumi.
Our next stop is at Agios Georgios Valsamitis, a church used to be one of the well-known oracles of ancient Greece.
Upon moving on to the south part of the island, we are going to discuss and drink coffee in the shadow of a nice restaurant. Discover the well-preserved ancient Agia Triada (the Holy Trinity) Tower. It is protected by the World Heritage Convention of Unesco.
Next stop is Chora, the capital of Amorgos. Stroll through the alleys of the old venetian village, visit windmills, Loza and the Castle. We have lunch in a tavern here. Arrival at Vigla Hotel around 18:00.
