Enjoy your visit to one of the most incredible architectural miracles of Barcellona – Casa Battló – a UNESCO World Heritage site and Barcellona’s icon. Built as a plain and simple house in the 19th century it was later destined to be demolished by its new owner, Joseph Batlló, to give space to his new mansion. The destine wanted this project to end up in the hands of the most creative and advanced architects of those days - Antonio Gaudi who used his talent and courage to save the house and turn it into a real masterpiece – astonishing, breathtaking but at the same time modern and functional.
