Hatta, a hidden gem nestled in the Hajar Mountains, is a captivating escape just a short distance from the bustling metropolis of Dubai.

Stop 3

Hatta Heritage Village is a reconstruction of a traditional mountain village located in Hatta, in the Al Hajar Mountains, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The mosque and houses within Hatta Heritage Village were originally constructed from materials such as mud, palm tree trunks and fronds (barasti), reeds, and stone. The village consists of 30 buildings, many of which have interior furnishings typical of the UAE in the period prior to development in the 1960s onwards.

Visitors can also explore the 3,000-year-old Hatta Heritage Village, situated close to the park, to learn about the Emirati way of life from the olden days. Afterwards, stop by Swan Lake, a large bathing pool where you can spot local birds wading in the water.

Hatta Dam is a dam that is located about an hour's drive from the city of Dubai. It is a popular tourist destination with a beautiful landscape all around.

As the sun begins to set, we head to the Desert Safari Camp for an evening of desert magic.
