Al Suwjara Village started with one family.
The village is now divided into the old and the new. The new village is nearly 20 minutes hike away from the old one. Four-wheel cars can drive all the way to the new village but to access the old village, one must climb down one side of the mountain, cross a wooden bridge, and climb another to reach the old houses.
Cliff Guest House started with one room, then after three years cliff house become attractive for many travellers going to Jebel Akhdar, and then now they have 7 rooms and more for renovations with the mountain cliff view, its traditional old style built by stone from the mountain.
