Stop 1

Meet your lovely local guide at your hotel lobby at 8:30am or 1:30pm (or your preferred departure time), then visit the bund first. Your guide will not only take you to the best spot for amazing pictures of skyscrapers but also explain all the history behind each building. If you have any special tour or picture requests, please feel free to discuss your preference with your guide upon meeting.

If you are interested in architecture, 1933 Old Millfun may a good place for you to visit, which is described by the Atlas Obscura travel guide as "an eerie Gotham-Deco achievement in concrete, glass and steel, and the last remaining of its design in the world."

Stop 3

Your local guide will take you to the traditional living area in the old town, so you can get very nice pictures for local alleys formed by the typical Shanghai living houses, food market and especially old and new views.

Stop 4

Another good place in the old town that you can visit is 461-year-old classic garden "Yu Garden", where you will get really nice pictures for the lakes, traditional Chinese architecture with flying up eaves, limestone and amazing clay cravings. Your guide will share with you the Chinese garden art and give you an overview of high official's garden life in the history. (Kindly remind that Yu Garden is not open to the public on Monday)

Stop 5

Your lunch will be arranged at a delicious local restaurant in the French Concession. If you have any special food request, please feel free to let your guide know. After lunch, your guide will show you the coolest picture spot in the French Concession.

Your final stop will be at Shanghai Tower. If the weather is good and clear, you can take the fastest elevator in the world to 119F to have a wonderful view of Shanghai. Your guide will point out all the important places and explain you all the stories behind it. If you wish to visit other skyscrapers such as Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower or Shanghai World Financial Tower, please feel free to let your guide know.
