When your cruiseship docks in Livorno, or you are finding yourself already in Florence, one of the best choices you can make is to visit the gorgeous area of so called "Cinque Terre". Located only 1 hour & 15 minutes approximately from the port, it is a quick and nice drive on a freeway that will take you to La Spezia, beautiful port town itself already. From La Spezia the driver will take you to the pier where you can embark a small ferry, for a boat tour of the 5 villages. After your visit on your own, return by boat or train to La Spezia and meet again your driver, before safely returning to the ship in Livorno.
