About this experience

Join us for an unforgettable safari experience from Zanzibar to the biggest National Park in Africa, Selous! Flights, transport, park fees and lunch are included.

You will be picked up by our driver early in the morning and brought to the airport of Zanzibar. From here you will fly to the airstrip in Selous, where you will arrive a short flight after. The wildlife in Selous is waiting for you! Once you arrive you will be awaited by our driver guide. From this moment your safari adventure will start!

Don´t forget to pack your camera, as you will be surrounded by wildlife, with the National Park having one of the best wildlife densities in Tanzania!! During lunch time you will experience an authentic bush lunch in the middle of the National Park. Enjoy the second half of your game drive before you are brought back to the airstrip of Selous Game Reserve. From here you will fly back to Zanzibar, from where our driver will be waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel.

Transfer from your place of stay to the airport where you will fly to Selous Game Reserve will your safari adventure will begin.

Do you want to have a safari experience in the quickest way possible? The day Safari package gives you this opportunity. Flying in early in the morning, full-day game drive with a bush lunch as a break, flying back late afternoon. Taste the amazing experience of a day in the bush.

Selous GR (Nyerere National Park) is a little more of a hidden wonder in Tanzania, giving it even greater appeal. It’s one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa, relatively undisturbed by human impact with only a small 8% of the northern region of the park dedicated to photographic tourism.

The reserve is crossed by the second biggest river in Tanzania, the Rufiji river, creating a very dynamic ecosystem. Selous is home to more than 2000 species of plants and over 350 species of birds and reptiles, boasting a wide range of wildlife from the African bush elephants, hippopotamus and lions to Cape buffaloes, Maasai giraffe, & zebra.
