Requirements to drive a jet ski OBTAINING a Boaters Safety Certificate: Florida law states all boaters who were born On or After January 1, 1988 must have in their possession a valid boaters safety education ID card while operating (driving) any motorized vessel of 10hp or more, if operating a Jet Ski on their own or have a passenger born on or after January 1, 1988. Driver must be 16 years old at the time of the tour to operate the machine. Requirements to drive a jet ski WITHOUT OBTAINING a Boaters Safety Certificate: Those Born BEFORE January 1, 1988 DO NOT need Boaters Safety Card. Those born ON or AFTER January 1, 1988 AND OVER THE AGE OF 18, DO NOT need Boaters Safety Card IF accompanied by someone born BEFORE January 1, 1988 on the same machine with them.

Jet Skis can hold a maximum of 2 people (450 lbs max weight)
Must have A VALID ID and a Boaters Safety Certificate printed or a saved copy or photo of the certificate on your mobile device that is brought with you for the tour.
Must have a form of ID (Drivers License or Passport) for each driver.
» Guests 4-15 years old: Can’t drive a jet skis but can be passengers with someone 18 or older
» Guests 16-17 years old: Can drive their own jet ski if they present a valid government-issued photo ID, complete a Boater’s Safety Test, and have a natural or adoptive parent present a valid government-issued photo ID and sign a waiver at check-in. If two minors (16-17 years old) want to share a jet ski, both must meet the requirements.
» Guests 18 and older: Can drive a jet ski if they present a valid government-issued photo ID and are either born before 1988 or complete a Boater’s Safety Test. Can be a passenger on a jet ski If two adults want to share a jet ski, only one must meet the requirements (all adult guests must present valid government-issued photo IDs).
If you arrive without your photo ID for the drivers or the boaters license or certificate (if applicable), you will be subject to reschedule or given a gift certificate. NO REFUNDS.
Minimum Age of passengers is 4 years of age

Meeting point

Meet us at Rose Marina on the north end of Marco Island. Our check-in booth is located next to the main building's ship store. ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. Booking times are exact and not an arrival window. 15 MINUTES LATE TO CHECK IN, you can reschedule, NO REFUNDS.

Important notes

• You will meet at Rose Marina, located at 951 Bald Eagle Dr Marco Island, FL 34145, on the North end of Marco Island to sign waivers and go over safety briefs. 

• YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME (Example: 9am tour, you will arrive at 8:30am or earlier). If 15 minutes late you'll be subject to reschedule or gift certificate! NO REFUNDS FOR LATE ARRIVAL.

• Checkin includes signing waivers and safety briefing on jet ski operation. This is 30 minutes long which is why you MUST ARRIVE 30 minutes ahead of scheduled tour time.

• A valid ID (Drivers license or passport) is REQUIRED at CHECK IN for EVERYONE DRIVING. If you come without your ID you will be subject to reschedule. NO REFUNDS.

• Florida law states all boaters who were born on or after January 1, 1988 must have in their possession a valid boating safety education ID card while operating any motorized vessel of 10hp or more. Tour departs ON TIME, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.

• Riders/passengers not operating the jet ski DO NOT NEED to obtain a boaters safety education ID card.

• You must complete and print out the boater Safety course in order to take the tour! To take your boater safety course online go to https://boattests101.com/united-states/florida/florida-rental?mcid=L2wBkf6x

• No one under the age of 16 years may operate a personal watercraft (PWC) on Florida waters at any time, even if such person possesses a Florida Boating Safety Education I.D. Card. if you are a passenger on a jet ski you do not need to obtain a boater safety card.

• Check the weather and please dress for the elements. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet, because most likely you will!
