Detailed itinerary

1

The adventure begins at 8:00 a.m. at the dock in Puerto Ayora after the guide picks you up at your hotel in Santa Cruz. You will start with a one hour navigation to the designated snorkeling site on Santa Fe Island. A short 10-minute stop will allow you to observe the cliffs and beach of northern Santa Fe, and admire the Blue Footed Boobies from the boat.

2
Stop 2

You will then move on to the first snorkeling area on the east side of the island. This place is full of colorful fish and sea lions. The rocky cliffs and crystal clear waters of Santa Fe are a beautiful place with an incredible underwater view of Galapagos wildlife. Rays, tuna, various schools of fish and reef sharks are also common in the area. After this dive in the water, you will return to the boat for Box Lunch.

Stop 3

After lunch you will return to Santa Cruz Island, but first a short stop at Playa Escondida. This beautiful secluded spot is only accessible by boat. This is the perfect place to observe Galapagos marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas and zayapas. This area is home to spotted eagle rays, golden rays, sea turtles and even white tip sharks. At the end you will have time to relax and explore the beach before returning to Puerto Ayora.
