The Oldehove is the local tower of Pisa, a leaning and unfinished church tower in the medieval city center of Leeuwarden.

You'll walk past the Grote Kerk, built in 1552 and the Grote Kerkstraat, which features no less than 38 national monuments.

You'll pass by a statue of local hero Willem Lodewijk van Nassau-Dillenburg, who was the 'stadthouder' (The city's ruling lord) in the beginning of the 17th century.

Among some of the historic buildings is the Waag, built in 1590, a beautiful weighing house in the middle of the square, where you can have a drink on its cosy terrace.
