Experience the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) on your own terms with our private transport service from Cusco. Your journey begins early in the morning, with personalized pickup from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 AM. If your hotel is located in a pedestrian-only area or a street with limited vehicle access, the pickup will be coordinated at Plaza Regocijo, just a short walk from the city center.
We’ll head south of Cusco towards the town of Cusipata, where you can optionally stop for breakfast before continuing the drive to the trailhead, located at Llaqto or Chillihuani, depending on the weather and road conditions. From there, you’ll begin your hike to Rainbow Mountain, a stunning natural wonder famous for its vibrant mineral colors and panoramic Andean views. The hike usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace, and once at the top, you’ll have enough time to enjoy the scenery and take photos at your own rhythm.
After exploring the summit, you’ll return to the vehicle and begin the journey back to Cusco, with an optional stop in Cusipata for lunch. Arrival back in the city is expected around 3:00 to 4:00 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or Plaza Regocijo.
This service includes private transport in a car, van, or sprinter based on the size of your group, a professional driver, oxygen and a basic first aid kit, and personalized attention throughout the day. Entrance tickets, meals, guide service, and horse rental are not included, but can be arranged upon request.
