Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Pamukkale is the location of Turkey’s beautiful & health-giving limestone hot springs, one of the country’s top tourist attractions. Pamukkale’s travertine terraces are one of the most visited sites in Turkey. A trip to Pamukkale will leave a lasting impression on you.

2

The ruins of Hierapolis ancient city or "Holy City" (in translation from Greek) is located about 17 kilometers from Denizli, close to Pamukkale. They are located on a mountain hill whose height is 350 meters. The first buildings on the site of Hierapolis appeared in the 2nd millennium BC.

3

The theatre is constructed of solid rock and the overall height of its steps is about one hundred meters. Fifty rows separated by walkways on seven sectors are seats for spectators. After the completion of the constructions works the theater could accommodate about ten thousand people. Here you can also see the Hierapolis ruins of the Temple of Apollo.

4
Stop 4

Water is an important part of life around Pamukkale. Though the natural turquoise pools are largely off-limits to keep them pristine, it’s possible to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool. Located at the top of the terraces, an earthquake in the 7th century sent the surrounding statues and marble columns crashing into the water. It’s since been turned into a modern pool, with changing rooms and a cafe, allowing swimmers to float over the ancient ruins.

5

A peaceful, green place just below the Pamukkale thermal pools. You can feed fish, geese and ducks while having some rest and enjoying the view of thermal pools.
