1 Hour Breathtaking Balloon Flight along the Algarve Coast. We ride the winds of the barrocal valleys in the western Algarve or the warmer breezes of the rolling hills of the Baixo Alentejo. Travelling at the same speed as the wind you will enjoy a sensation of unique privilege and experience absolute silence before returning back into the loving arms of mother earth. Whether a birthday, anniversary, important occasion or even a “must do” … we promise all our passengers a wonderful time! ​​Balloon flights in Portugal can be flown all year round and the most stable meteorological conditions are at sunrise. The meteorological conditions will determine if the flight goes ahead. The flight is about 1 hour but The whole trip can take 3-5 hours …

View majestic Monchique mountain range from altitude. A 360º, 3D view and well known for its thermal waters with healing powers. A dissected igneous rock (syenite) massif, its highest point is Foia (2,960 ft [902 m]). The range is famous for its wild and generally varied plant life, as well as for its spas with medicinal waters (Caldas de Monchique). The area is known for its production of honey and medronho (arbutus brandy). It is a fresh air haven where you can relax and wander in peace.

Fit to fly We are not qualified to express an opinion confirming you are fit to fly and you must ensure that you are fit to fly. Balloon flights require you standing and being able to walk out of a field. We will however endeavour to assist should this be required. You must not fly if you are suffering from any serious medical condition or have recently undergone surgery unless you have a certificate of fitness to fly from your doctor.
You must not fly if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
For operational purposes there will a surcharge for passengers whose weight exceeds 100kg, if you think this may be the case please call us.

Meeting point

Launch site is dictated by the wind direction on the day of the flight. Launch site will be confirmed the day before the flight.

Important notes

Once you have a flight date, please call the pilot the day before the flight at 18h00 on 00 351 91 453 2300 to confirm weather conditions are suitable.
Final meeting point and time will also be confirmed.
The meeting point/launch site will be in a radius of 20km from our base the Aerodrome of Lagos.

Flights are at Sunrise only and we fly everyday weather permitting.
