A dissected igneous rock (syenite) massif, its highest point is Foia (2,960 ft [902 m]). The range is famous for its wild and generally varied plant life, as well as for its spas with medicinal waters (Caldas de Monchique). The area is known for its production of honey and medronho (arbutus brandy). It is a fresh air haven where you can relax and wander in peace.

Launch site is dictated by the wind direction on the day of the flight. Launch site will be confirmed the day before the flight.
Once you have a flight date, please call the pilot the day before the flight at 18h00 on 00 351 91 453 2300 to confirm weather conditions are suitable.
Final meeting point and time will also be confirmed.
The meeting point/launch site will be in a radius of 20km from our base the Aerodrome of Lagos.
Flights are at Sunrise only and we fly everyday weather permitting.
