Detailed itinerary

1

Set out with us on a journey to discover an unexpected gem of the Amalfi Coast: through uncontaminated nature, old vineyards (pre-philloxera vineyards, 300-500 years old), and past churches and lovely villages where time seems to have stopped. This is the setting for your Amalfi Coast wine tour. When you arrive at the winery, meet your local expert who will lead you on a visit of the vineyards and the cellar which dates back to the 18th century.
Learn about unique indigenous grape varieties: Tintore, Piedirosso, Pepella, Falanghina and Ginestra. After your tour, enjoy a tasting of four Amalfi Coast DOC wines served with a local food-pairing lunch that includes: appetizer, pasta dish, second course and dessert. During the meal, there will be a guided wine-tasting of 3 D.O.C reserve wines and 1 sparkling wine.
After lunch, proceed with your driver to Ravello.

2

Meet your guide who will help you discover Ravello, the elegant international City of Music, which sits on a promontory 350 metres above the Mediterranean Sea and offers spectacular views over the other towns of the Amalfi Coast and its coastline. Historically, Ravello has been an inspiring escape for artists, musicians, writers, intellectuals and composers such as Wagner, Toscanini, Escher, Mirò and Lawrence.

3
Stop 3

Walk through the historical center until you reach Villa Cimbrone whose origins date back to the 11th century; the Villa and its wide elegant gardens are located in a strategic position, standing at the edge of the cliffs and offering dramatic views over Amalfi’s coastline. Pause at the Terrazzo dell’Infinito (Terrace of Infinity), a stone balcony embellished with impressive marble busts, which offers a 180-degree view of the coastline and the distinctive, colorful Mediterranean landscape with its many terraced lemon groves.
Wander along the ancient alleyways, pass churches and nobleman’s residences while your guide unveils the most interesting stories of this town’s long history.
